If you put the clock back 40 years, we all strove to own our own house. Then as time went on came the desire to have fitted carpets, a washing machine to replace the mangle; a fridge instead of a cold store; colour television; a video; double glazing to keep out the noise and the cold; a fitted kitchen; a dishwasher; the list goes on and on.
Nowadays, we take for granted what our parents and grandparents strived and aspired to. What seemed a luxury to them now is seen as a basic necessity for everyday living to most of us. So what comes next?
Well Mike Webb, Managing Director of Natural Welsh Water believes he has the answer.

“After all, in some parts of the country, the tap water is almost undrinkable unless you boil it, and with our systems, you have a limitless supply of instant, drinkable, refreshing, crystal clear natural water, so if the price was right, who wouldn’t want it?”
Mike sees a time in the not too distant future, when children are sitting on their grandparents knee asking them what they drank out of in the days before every home had a water cooler.
